  • About Me Emelina Bellé

My story began in the Caribbean, where I was born in Havana, Cuba. I grew up in the states and abroad, being bilingual in Spanish and English, and developed a love for the American and Spaniard culture. My father’s side is from Las Palmas, The Grand Canary Islands northwest of Africa, Morocco’s coast in the Atlantic Ocean, Italy, and Madrid, Spain’s central capital city. My mother’s side is from Barcelona on the northeastern coast of Spain and south of France and is the capital city of Catalonia.

I appreciate multicultural and multiethnic diversity and recognize, respect, and value sociocultural differences in our society. I am a compassionate and inclusive therapist providing broad knowledge and understanding of various cultural and ethnic backgrounds, multiracial, gender and sexual orientation, spiritual, religious beliefs, family values, and traditions. It is essential to embrace strategies sensitive to their perspectives when collaborating on customized treatment objectives, goals, and evidence-based techniques.
