Her doctoral dissertation research focuses on interracial, intercultural, and interethnic couples: Modern Love Stories: A Narrative Inquiry of Interracial Couples providing research about romantic love, couples’ connections, and what makes meaningful and fulfilling for interracial couples’ relationships.
She is a Board Certified Clinical Sexologist, American Board of Sexology, and Ph.D. Doctor of Philosophy Clinical Sexology Candidate, The Modern Sex Therapy Institutes, Advanced Mental Health Training Institute (AMHTI) – expected 2024. The program approaches the emergent innovative emergent field of sexual medicine with a multidisciplinary approach integrating core principles of sex therapy, cognitive-behavioral, psychodynamic, and family systems theory for the enhancement of sexual well-being and the development of healthy relationships.
She has completed the Clinical Sexology, PhD comprehensive program involving 150+ CE of human sexuality core knowledge, clinical supervision, and the SAR Sexuality Attitude Reassessment providing comprehensive psychotherapy specializing in sex therapy for a variety of sexual intimacy concerns and dysfunctions.
She is an American Association of Marriage & Family Therapy AAMFT Supervisor Marriage & Family Therapy Candidate Approved Training Program. She has completed the Fundamentals of Supervision 30 hours providing clinical practicum supervision of trainees and associates and provides mentorship.

She has extensive professional experience and advanced clinical training including, Certified Clinical Trauma Professional Level 2 (CCTP-II), Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Gottman Method Couples Therapy (GMCT), American Association Sexuality, Educators, Counselors and Therapists (AASECT) Sex Core Knowledge Areas (CKA), Eye Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR), and Sex Therapy.
She collaborates with clients to establish an individual and personalized treatment plan to meet their goals and outcomes with each person or couple. She works supports the client to enhance their strengths through the course of therapy. She is passionate about guiding individuals and couples to healing and recovery from personal and intergenerational trauma, creating connections in relationships, establishing effective communication, improving intimacy and sexuality, and validating everyone’s expression of themselves and promoting a couple’s well-being.
